The 17th edition of MADEIRADiG - Madeira International Music and Digital Arts Festival, which usually takes place on the first weekend of December in Calheta and Ponta do Sol, Madeira Islnad, has announced not to hold the event in 2020 taking into account the current constraints related to the health crisis resulting from the COVID - 19 pandemic, especially with regard to air traffic restrictions and the recent confinements implemented in countries such as Germany, England and Austria, from which a large part of the festival's audience comes, which comprises at least 85% of foreign audiences.

The joint organization of APCA, Estalagem da Ponta do Sol and Digital in Berlin, which just a few days ago announced the lineup and the full program designed for the 17th edition of the event - among which names like Abul Mogard, Lucy Railton or Ben Bertrand, as well as local artists João de Nóbrega Pupo, Sara Anjo and the veteran Silvestre Pestana, among others, a group of activities ranging from live concerts and performances to workshops and audiovisual installations, - now intends to transfer the entire project to 2021.

Stay tuned, MADEIRADiG we will announce new dates in a near future. :)
