The II SABOREA Transnational Seminar will take place between today and tomorrow, 10th and 11th of December, and will take place online through the ZOOM platform.
After the launch meeting held in November 2019 in Lanzarote, the partners of the SABOREA project agreed to hold the II SABOREA Transnational Seminar in the Azores. With the current situation related to the COVID 19 pandemic and given the mobility problems caused by the situation, this second meeting of partners takes place online, to coordinate the activities to be carried out with the partners within the scope of the strategic vision of the common project.
This seminar is held in two sessions in which, on the one hand, there will be a working session to monitor the project and on the other, a webinar in which the Azores will present some of the gastronomic initiatives that are being carried out, as "virtual hosts" of this online meeting.
Thus, in the first session some activities of the project were presented, such as the online platform “SABOREA EL ATLÁNTICO MEDIO” and the I Jornadas del Atlántico Medio, in which, based on the experience of organizing these conferences in the Canary Islands, it is intended to carry out this activity in the remaining territories as far as possible. APCA, through its project manager Sónia Marques, will present the plan for creating sustainable gastronomic routes in Madeira. Also, at the end of the online event Azores partners will lecture about “Creative and Sustainable Cuisine in the Azores”.
