MADEIRADiG is a festival, held annually, dedicated to electronic and experimental music held since 2004 by APCA and, from 2008, in partnership with MUDAS – Museum of Contemporary Art of Madeira, Estalagem da Ponta do Sol and the Digital portal in Berlin. The quality and coherence of the programming, combined with the complementarity of the leisure offer provided, made MADEIRADiG one of the references in the European and global panoramas of electronic-experimental festivals.

This is currently a festival totally oriented towards the presentation of projects and artists in the area of electronic and experimental music and it has been an option in recent years, for each edition of the festival, the choice of a set of relatively diverse musical proposals, representative of different sensibilities and artistic currents. The extremely high quality, diversity and coherence of the programming has already hosted several of the most acclaimed names in the world of the genre, such as Burnt Friedman, William Basinski, The Necks, Lee Ranaldo, Carl Stone, Taylor Deupree or Alva Noto, among many others._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

In 2022, the Funchal City Sessions appear, resulting from a new partnership with Colectivo Casa Amarela, responsible for the curatorship. This is a version that extends the event to the city of Funchal through three sessions presented throughout the year, preceding the usual dates of activities in December, distributed between Calheta and Ponta do Sol.

Currently, 80% of the event's audience is made up of foreign spectators, making MADEIRADiG one of the few events in the Autonomous Region of Madeira with an impact on the Cultural Tourism segment.
