SIDEREA by Imhoff & Baldini at the John dos Passos Cultural Center

September 18, 2026

The Italian duo Imhoff & Baldini, formed by digital artist Igor Imhoff and composer and sound designer Luca Maria Baldini, presents SIDEREA, an audiovisual performance as part of TRANSGRESSION art + technology LAPP 3 – Live Audiovisual Performance Programme.

In SIDEREA, image and sound meet within a real-time generative system, in which both elements interact with and influence one another.

Igor Imhoff leads the visual and interactive component, intervening in the processes that generate and transform the images throughout the performance. Luca Maria Baldini performs the musical component and integrates the sound directly into the generative system.

The intensity and variations of the music shape the generation of the images in real time, creating an audiovisual flow in constant transformation.

Without a predefined narrative, the dramaturgy of SIDEREA progressively emerges from the interaction between music, images, performers and space. The performance proposes a journey between the observation of the cosmos, primitive imaginaries, technology and the transformation of the human figure.

As the images are generated live and the music is performed in real time, each presentation of SIDEREA constitutes a unique experience, unrepeatable in its exact form.
